Who am I?

Thank you for visiting this site. I’m Nick Lange and I enjoy making things look nice, whether it be designing a booklet, drawing a portrait or folding a 20-point origami sea urchin out of a single piece of paper—no cuts.

How Did I get here?

I have a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and earned an associate’s in graphic and web design at Southeast Community College. I’ve spent five years working professionally as project manager at Modern Arts Midwest, a contemporary art gallery in Lincoln’s Historic Haymarket.

What I do.

I’ve worked professionally on a gamut of projects and come correct with creative design, illustration, and problem solving skills. Please check out my portfolio for a snapshot of the work. I’m especially drawn to ideating and communicating visual messages.

My Purpose.

Design is constantly on my mind—sometimes my most lucid moments are while driving on the interstate or mowing the lawn. My goal is to create pieces that pique your interest and make you to want further explore. From beginning to end, I strive to make stuff cool.
